Melbourne Cup Day
long weekend including Bellarine Arts Trail
Visitors will again be welcomed to Alison's Studio during the Melbourne Cup Day long weekend. Alison will participate in the Bellarine Arts Trail 2024 on Saturday and Sunday November 2 and 3, and her studio will also stay open for Monday and Tuesday, November 4 and 5. Framed and unframed paintings on paper and on canvas, and gift cards, will be on display and available for purchase.

FabrianoInAcquarello, Italy April - July 2024, USA October 2024
Alison has represented Australia internationally for the past three years in the annual international watercolour exhibition ‘FabrianoinAcquarello’, held in April - July each year in Fabriano and Bologna in Italy.
Alison's painting ‘Wetland’ was exhibited in Italy from April - July and will travel with the exhibition to Fort Worth in Texas, where it will be on display in October 2024.

Camberwell Arts Show 2024
Alison's painting 'Receding Storm' was awarded 'Highly Commended in the recent Camberwell Art Show 2024.
The work is a large canvas, painted loosely in 'watered ' acrylics, with subject matter drawn from the estuary at Barwon Heads.
Transparent layers of colour were built up using a method similar to that of watercolour painting, to capture the atmosphere at low tide after a recent storm.
'Collaboration' Exhibition March 22 - April 1 2024, including Easter
Alison and fellow painter Pat McKenzie held an exhibition of paintings in the Barwon Heads Community Arts Hub in the lead up to, and including, Easter 2024.
Visitors to the exhibition had the opportunity to view a selection of large and small works, including coastal images inspired by the Bellarine and the Great Ocean Road, painted in oils, watercolours and acrylics.
Watercolour Society of Victoria 'Luminous' exhibition May 2024
Alison's painting ‘Low Tide’ was displayed as part of the Watercolour Society of Victoria's celebration of 50 years.
The exhibition included a wide collection of work by International and Australian artists, and was held at the Victorian Artists Society, 430 Albert Street East Melbourne'
during May 2024.
Open Studio by Appointment
Alison’s studio at 21 River Parade Barwon Heads is open to visitors by appointment in between scheduled Open Studio weekends. Framed and unframed paintings on paper and on canvas, and gift cards are available for purchase.
