 'Collaboration' Exhibition March 22 - April 1 2024, including Easter 

Friday March 22 will see the opening of an exhibition of paintings by Alison and Pat McKenzie, in the Barwon Heads Community Arts Hub, Clifford Parade BH.  While Alison lives and paints beside the Barwon River in Barwon Heads, Pats’ studio is on a working farm in Aireys Inlet, surrounded by National Park and only minutes from the famed Great Ocean Road.

 

Visitors to the exhibition will have the opportunity to view a selection of large and small works, including coastal images inspired by the Bellarine and the Great Ocean Road, as well as other rural and international subjects.  Works on display will include paintings in oils, watercolours and acrylics.  All paintings exhibited will be for sale, and a range of unframed works and gift cards will also be available for purchase.

Alison has represented Australia internationally for the past three years in the annual international watercolour exhibition ‘FabrianoinAcquarello’, held in April - July each year in Fabriano and Bologna in Italy. 

Alison's painting ‘Wetland’ will be exhibited in Italy from April - July and will travel with the exhibition to Fort Worth in Texas, where it will be on display in October 2024.

Watercolour Society of Victoria 'Luminous' exhibition May 2024

Alison's painting ‘Low Tide’ will be on display as part of the Watercolour Society of Victoria's celebration of 50 years.  The exhibition will include a wide collection of work by International and Australian artists, and artist talks and demonstrations will be included in the events program.

Bellarine Arts Trail November 2024

Planning for the Bellarine Arts Trail 2024, organised by the Barwon Heads Arts Council, is already underway.

Visitors will again be welcomed to Alison's Studio during the Melbourne Cup Day long weekend.

Open Studio

Alison’s studio  at 21 River Parade Barwon Heads is open to visitors by appointment in between scheduled Open Studio weekends.  Framed and unframed paintings on paper and on canvas, and gift cards are available for purchase.
